I have a 175 bd train horn, air powered and I want to put it on the boat.On the water you can hear it for over 5 miles!!!
Its kinda big, three bells that are 6 inches around and between 12 and 17 inches long when you look at if from the front there are 2 bells on the bottom and one on the top. Its all chrome and I thing its a beautiful piece of metal.
Anyone else have a real horn on the boat?? Or is the wife rite and im crazy???

Your wife is right and your crazy....lol. Just kidding, I wouldn't use it, but if you do mount it up, take some pictures and post them.

Those links are hilarious. We have one on one of our semi trucks...the three horn one and I'm telling you that thing is terribly loud. Driver blew it in the shop one day when I was close....needless to say, I wasn't happy and neither was the ringing in my ears. I have honked it while driving down the road and its funny as heck to watch people jump. If you mount it on your boat, just remember not to blow it real close to anyone. Those things can give you permanent hearing damage.
