Need Ideas! on lift placement

Hello all, I need any ideas on a new placement of the lifting ram on my 1993 260. Currently located on the transom where it ends up pushing more forward than up and it has become a manual/power assited with there being more manual everyday. If anyone with a 1993/94 260 or 272 has pictures they can provide on their placements it would be appreciated. Oh yea, the 260 has a removable rear seat, so mounting to the back of the seat may not be in my best interest.
