Sunday we were hanging at off a small beach/cove and i took my cousins Sea Doo out for a ride. While i was cruising around i saw a Baja from a distance (could tell it was older from grafix's). So i ride over to see what it is.........its a 93/94 260........and what is he doing?????? PULLING LOBSTER TRAPS............LOL!!!! :eek :eek Right up to the back swimplatform and placing them right on the sunpad.......grabbing bait from a bucket on seat (dead fish) and then throwing it back in........i had to laugh! We pull lobster traps from my dads boat and it makes an absolute mess i can just imagin what the inside of this boat smells like with the dead fish juice dripped all over......YUMMMMMMM!! :|

Their is a Kid (22), has a 442 Baja where I keep my boat. Always has 4 or 5 young chicks on his vessel every weekend, Someone shoved a (FN) in the toilet and it clogged up the flush out and He forgot to pump out the system. Its been in the mid 90's, Boat covered, holding tank fomented, and I was told it ruptured!!!:x ,Turning the boat into a $350,000.00 septic system. His Dad (real Owner) wanted to take some friends a ride, Not an option!!!8o , OH! Water Patrol was glad that it stayed in the boat and Out of the lake.0]

Wow! Talk about mistreating boats! What a shame.
Some of my not-so-quick acquaintances sometimes ask me, "So, ya ever fish off that thang?" Of course, I don't. I wouldn't dream of it. No way, no how!
Then comes the, "Why Not?" It's not even worth explaining sometimes...
If I were that kid's dad, he would be in some serious, serious trouble. 442, what a shame.

I was supprised at how many Bajas I saw when I was out on the 4th in Boston. A Red Sport 260 tied up behind me at the Galleria Mall, there was a Black one, same model I believe with yellow writing on the side (sorry could not read it), a beautiful solid blue sportfish with twin Mercs in the Charles dropping people off, and at a bunch more that I cannot recall. Not sure if any of these people are members, willing to bet no. With that being said I may need some of those cards from Blake! If anyone was at the Esplanade, I was the Hammer on the Boston side to the West of the barges. We gotta get more Boston people to sign on!!!8)

Hey Mike,
Blue Sportfish with Twin Merc's.... had to be me. I havent seen any other Baja sportfish's around..........especially blue. But we were not dropping people off we were rafting up with a friend of mine on a Sea Ray. We stayed thru the fireworks and then left to battle with the others at the RR bridge and Locks LOL. I too noticed acouple of other Baja's but did not see the ones you mentioned. Saw a 24 outlaw and an older yellow 280 and i didnt see your Baja either. We were ancored inside the longfellow bridge just outside the Hatch Shell.
Fun night, i took some pics I should post them in the pic section. I thought that the fireworks from the sunday before for the troops were better than the ones on the 4th......You?

Agreed on the fireworks!! Didn't seem as high as the previous ones. What about those commercial breaks??? That was awful, then they played the 1812 overture in the middle of the show instead of at the finally...
Okay, I actually waved to someone on your boat and the person waved back(probably thinking whos this knucklehead), thinking the same as you that there arent that many around and hey it was a Baja!
I was between the bridges, on the Boston side closer to the Mass Ave Bridge right near the Gloucester Street Dock that was packed with people coming and going all day. I had an umbrella that I bought that day at the Galleria because it was so dam hot!!!
That boat must handle the chop rather well!!

Yeah the commercial breaks were horrible, especially compared to years past! As well as, We had our radio to the simulcast on 102.5 and when the fireworks started they switched to there regular programing.......and the fireworks are choreographed to the Boston Pops. With the fireworks going off it was tough to hear the music from the shore. We eventually figured out that they also were playing them on WBZ (freakin AM).........so we listened to that.
As far as waving goes......... I think its just a boat thing (well maybe not just a boat thing, when im on my bike.....other bikes wave....when im in my jeep.....other jeeps wave.....with all this waving im feeling like a politician! LOL
And as far as the chop goes...........Yeah...it does very well!
