Gang,
I was overwhelmed to see a thread about me (that to my suprise has not been poofed) I thank each and everyone of you for your kind words and support. I truely believe you fellow Baja owners really speak from the heart and it makes me feel good about what I am doing here.
Again, Thank you! However I have no intention of ever again becoming active on "the other board" because of personal pride and that their site has lost what it was originally built for. (too much advertising and too much off topic BS) Its just not fun to read, I do check in on the Baja board from time to time, but nothing really informative there, I choose to put all my efforts right here. This is where I belong and this is where all Baja owners really come to congregate anyway. So I will pass on any offers to return and continue to watch "the other board" play catch up to our Baja forum.

Im glad to see you werent upset about that post. I thought I might have been opening a can of worms doing that, but was interested in seeing peoples reactions.

I still think it would be great if you could make an appearance there, but we understand where you are coming from. There are alot of great people over there that havent crossed the river yet to teambajamarine.com.

I dont mind the off topic stuff in the general area (On OSO), because Id rather go there and get opinions and ideas from people I chat with daily, than some random chatroom or discussion board. You become good friends with these people online, even though you may never meet. However, I do like the fact that teambajamarine has stayed focused on on being THE BAJA BOAT OWNERS ASSOCIATION! You dont have to sort through all the Formulas, beak boats, and cats. Its all about the BAJA!

By the way, the site looks f**king great! Somebody has been busy...........

I see OSO has responded to the thread and all I can say is "are you trippin?"

For the record he was never booted. He was asked not to spam and and he apologized. Since we did not get his e-mail for several days he then told us to stick it for not responding quick enough. Based on his postings on his site and the some e-mails to us, I find it hard to believe he will return.

The truth is still on our board as it exactly happened. Here is a nutshell version...
#1 WE WERE BOOTED!
#2 WE NEVER TOLD ANYONE TO STICK IT! #3 WHEN THE SITE WENT THROUGH A REVISION WE INQUIRED AS TO WHY WE WERE NOT ONCE AGAIN MODERATING THE BAJA FORUM.

dude, we are with you. you do not need to respond to anything. this is the place where not just baja people but all boat fans come. the real people who are there are at TBM. as i asked on the page, why would they think you would want to go back. we are with you.

I hear ya bro! But it makes me angry when the truth is not told, and that is why we dont delete threads. Everything is there to refer to so the truth doesnt get bent and in this case I think we hold all the cards.

last point on this for me,

i have 48 posts on oso and now, 195 posts on TBM, and i think i found them about 3 months before this one

The thread has been closed after an exact quoting of messages from TEAM BAJA, which has now been edited out. Typical. I will put this baby to rest now, but we all know where the truth can be found.

On another note, OSO isnt going to know what hit them in the coming months, as we are in the process of forming a new alliance. More details to follow in a new thread.

Just noticed the other thread that was started is now gone, poofed! Un "freakin" believable! How can they even call themselves a forum if you can post whats on your mind. And why bother when your comments are going to disappear.

When liquid chastized Teambaja for b!tching about being edited for a link to TBM and said, "they didn't post links at TBM to their site because they disappeared, so don't link TBM on OSO".....I said "wrong, I have linked classifieds and info at OSO on TBM and have never been edited"....must not have been what they wanted to hear because it got zapped!

Cant mention anything untill sometime after July 1st about our upcoming alliance.

As far as OSO goes, its a lost cause and a dead issue. I have to post my thoughts, thats why I may sound like a whiner. Whining really isnt the right term, but it sickens me what goes on over there and it amazes me they still have people that actually pay a fee and post.
