Dave I may have missed something and If you dont mind me asking why are you selling?

You didn't miss anything...I am just too darn busy with work right now along with the high fuel costs are keeping me working more than normal and the boat is collecting dust. So its listed forsale. If someone buys it great they get a boat thats setup and ready to go to the water. If not I'll continue to use it and enjoy it when I can. Thats all. I won't go anywhere even if I sell it. I'll still put on my event here in Michigan and be a TBM supporter I just will have to be a boat whore.

Dave.............WOW how many times have you been out on it?
I just remember asking you for pics .
Fuel prices are making it hard. I dont care when folks say Dont talk about gas when you have a boat. blah,blah... Times are tuff now. Gas prices suck. I wish to see 2.50 /gal. I'll be out all weekend.
Dave ...Good luck with your sale.

July 30th, 2006, 04:43 PM
Yea its not necessarily the gas for the boat as much as it is the 8-9k every 2 weeks in diesel fuel for the truck. Thats my problem right now its making me work more when normally I'd be home enjoying the boat. Yea I've been out on it a big whooping 2 times. I'm taking it out next weekend to party and then most likely Labor Day weekend. We don't have the long season like you guys do down there in FL so usually after Labor Day weekend we are pretty much winterizing the boats not too long after that.
Yea I really don't wanna see it go, but being practical I'm not using it might as well let someone else get the use of a great boat.

Well I'll have to say your right on that. I love to boat and I love being on the water with other people enjoying the day. Its just not the right time I guess. I'm not having any extra time to use the boat with work and all. Honestly I hope it doesn't sell, but usually when you hope that it does. So hopefully I'll be out there next year at St.Clair and Higgins lake burning gas with the rest of you, but if I'm not hey I'm a good boat whore, bring the beer and the gas money.

Well I do appreciate the offer and I am a good boat whore. I will definately be putting on the St.Clair Run next year so no worries there. And I'm sure with the market the way it is I'll still be boating in the IrishTornado.
As far as doing 80-mph looks like we've got some work to do this winter installing prochargers on those 7.4L's

Looks REALLY clean...VERY LOW HOURS too....Almost looks like the same colors as Jeremy's 29OL. I wonder if its setup though....Do you know who sold it originally? Prolly has the conservative X dimension on it.

Just talked to him...the owner is 56 and said with him and his wife in it with 1/4 tank of fuel he was doing 81.3gps which is setup enough for me...I figure with my labbed 28's I might be able to get somemore out of it. :beach: Unfortunately I'm still in the same boat buying private I have my boat to sell first. I wish Chrisf would get that 3ft itis. I got his boat all setup for him.
I love the colors on it too. Hot boat would just need to get the stereo upgraded though. Guess my good buddy Nightlife will be doing another stereo setup for me. :headbang2 :24:

Only thing I'm really looking at for a trade would be a newer 272 or 275 must have a 502 or 496HO so if anyone is interested in a tricked out low hour 302 with almost all of the goodies let me know. I'm looking to get back into a boat I can use on the little inland lakes to pull tubes, skiers.

Guess this is the answer to our question in the transportation thread.

That boat is a steal. Like you, if I was in the market for one, I would just send Dave the deposit and call the transport company. But maybe because I have done business with him before, I know he is legit.

Trust me the thought had crossed my mind a few times but I just got the 25. I should at least keep it a year or so. Besides, it has been an awsome boat for us. It also lets us play on some of the smaller lakes around here where it would be hard to get a 30 footer on. I kind of have the best fit for us right now.
Of course, I might get to the boat show on Saturday and do something stupid. :rolleye00

I'm entertaining serious offers if anyone is interested in a clean, low hours 302. I'm putting a windscreen on it and new gauges, but will put it back to original with windsheild if thats what buyer prefers. Contact me by clicking the link below.

Wow, you finally found a windscreen, congrats. I know that has been a long search for you. Where did you find it? I'll keep my ears open for anyone looking for a nice 30 footer.

Found it via a member on here that had one in his garage. It what I want, but not necessarily everyone is looking for a windscreen boat so I will keep the windsheild and offer it either way.

So you had new/used 496ho's installed?? I missed those posts. :onhishead
I was going to ask how difficult the cam changes were. Still would like to do some Raylar upgrades. Wanted to hear if you swapped cams with engines in the boat or???
Bring the boat down to sunny Florida. Well not today. Fay is coming right by our back door.
See how she does in some salt water and light rollers.:headbang2

Dave had some low hour take outs offered to him at a very nice price and did a complete engine swap and then sold his Mags. Easier than a cam change. :24:
