Does anyone know where I can find the upholstery skins for the engine hatch and rear bench seat on a 1995 272? HELP

Jak if you have the original ones any upolstery(spelling)shop should be able to duplicate what you have thats my plan at least that will be a winter project and hopefully I can do the headrests like the newer Baja's I definately wouldn't pay from a dealer what they would want for those skins plus then you'd still have to pay someone to install them unless your really good at upolstery work. JMO find a reputable upolstery shop and have them duplicate it. Good luck. But if you really want the skins I'm sure any Baja dealer or Baja themselves could send you the skins your looking for although with the 272 not in production and them making the engine hatch smaller now I'm guessing you would have to have it custom made which would cost even more.

Jak, don't know what part of Texas your from, but i think upholstery shop would be your best bet. Get some input from other boaters who have had it done in your area and find someone good. In my case, i planned to get the hatch done because of rotted wood, but in the end i had hatch, back seat, and both front seats along with new carpet. Wanted everthing to match. And remember, you get what you pay for. Mine wasn't cheap, but what a great job he did. If you happen to be in Houston area, i'll recommend him. Good luck.

I went down this road a few years ago. Baja only keeps the templates for 5 years. Find a GOOD vynil person local and make sure you see some of his work. It took me 3 tries to get something decent.
