Hi everybody,
I just read the thread about the awsome deal on the 2005 30 OL from ebay and wanted to let you know there are deals like that out there. I'm new to the site as I just bought my 2004 30 OL for $89,000.00 with a Prestige triple axle trailer. My boat isn't fully loaded but does have twin 496 mags with a swimplatform and a clarion cd player as well as a basic cuddy with a porta potti. I found it on Boatraderonline in Saratoga Springs, Ny. The price new was 150,000.00 with a trailer in 2004 and since its October 2005 who wants to buy a boat, Me!!! I actually called on it in the summer and went to look at it before deciding to get them to come down on price. I look forward to posting some pics as I pick it up this weekend. Can't wait till next summer on Lake Champlain and the annual poker run up here. If anybody knows of someone interested in a good 1987 Larson Senza 22 ft email me as I have two boats now.:D :D :D

Reds,
Nice deal at $90K w/ trailer, probably the going rate for a 2 year old leftover, not loaded up. That boat was selling last year for about $100K as I had a 2004 leftover at the NYC show that went for $109K, so you are right in line with that price. I believe your boat is from R.C. Congel? Post a phot in the Gallery.

I believe the boat he bought came from Saratoga Boat Works. Let us know, Red. Is this it? If so great buy. I called about this boat this summer and his bottom dollar was $103,000.00.

The boat did come from Saratoga and when I called it was 140,000 this summer. I see how they try to get more for the buck. Thanks I hope I will get many years of use and tender care out of it.

$140K last summer? Outta their minds for a leftover Mag boat. Maybe if it had 525's. Lindsay, enjoy the ride, the 30OL is one sweet boat.

Blake, that is right in line. I remember my dealer had an 04 with a mag and MSRP was 144K. So 140 sounds right to me. Now selling price is a different story, but no body is going to give you anything other than MSRP on over the phone.

The ride curt it talking about is mine and they did start telling me around 140g's until I laughed when it was all said and done I paid around 100 with a trailer. I thought I got a good deal but this one is alot better.

I fell in love with the 30 Outlaw, and I'm in the process of buying one. there are 2 I'm looking at 1) A left over 05' SST with HO's, and a base galley for $123,000
2) A used 05' SSTwith 18 hours, HO's Lab 28's DC package, premium stereo, VHF radio, GPS speedo for $115,000.
The used boat is the actually the boat in the January 05' issue of Power Boat Magazine. Is this a good deal? Witch one would be the better offer?

I'd say the used one, but 18 hrs. is hardley used, hell
Ricky can put that much on one in 1/2 a day.....

Thanks for the reply and your opinion, as this helps me decide on wich boat to pick. I never thought I would be looking at a boat that costs so much. Making a purchase like this, I want to make sure I'm geting my monies worth, and a good boat with good resale, and one that can handle the rough seas. I guess it makes me nervous to spend this type of money since I've been screwed 72 grand on a Hawaiiian 28 CAT. tried to sue but lawyers said get what you can before he bankrupts again on you for the 8 time.

river rat,
Shop around. There are some good deals out there right now. I saw a used one on boat trader with mag motors for $88,000.00.
