I bet someone could pick that up under 70K. Unfortunately my money fairy hasn't been around lately.

I'd love to pick that up. It appears like that's a great deal. Somebody needs to get it surveyed and jump on it.

A 99 saltwater boat with old "X" deminsions and 502's, no hydrolic steering....wouldn't say "smoking deal" but it is a big boat, looks clean too from the pix. Good boat for someone (?) especially considering we are in a "buyers mkt".! Maybe a low to mid 60 mph boat....boat books for 69-84 (low/high)....Left side book would be even less.

How about a 2001 33 Outlaw with 502's??? $65K start, $70K buy it now. That's not bad.

Too bad the bidding won't stay at $72K for a 40 Outlaw!!!!

The 2nd link was a boat that was trying to be sold early last year on ebay and was relisted numerous times. I am not sure if it is the same seller, but definately the same boat.

Is there something wrong with the boat?

BigT,
I dont know if there is anything wrong with the boat, only pointing out that it has been for sale a while.

The guy's description said that he's going sailing for the next 5 years. What the hell do some of these people do!!!! I wish I could take 5 years off. I'd take the 40 outlaw and go through the Panama Canal and stop off in Baja for a while.

Man, I like the 5th wheel trailer on that 40 OL. Too bad they beach the boat though...

If you guys remember I bid on that about a year ago. I was the high bidder at 139K. A day before the auction ended they pulled it. I emailed them with no responses.

So Curt, you don't think 79K with no reserve will take that boat home? The guys got a 99.9percent ebay rating..... must sell alot of crap to his mother huh? Nice boat, nice price, nice try!

If it sound too good to be true............ you'll find it on ebay.

Curt,
Did you file a complaint with Ebay? Or was it an auction "subject to sale locally"?
