I know this has been a long time coming and there has been alot of speculation as to what I am going to do.
I have held off thus far untill the specifics were in place, at this point of the game, I only want to mention that I am working closely with my dealer and Baja in working up a unique 30 Outlaw and I am anticipating an April delivery. The unique part of the boat will be something in the graphics area that I will still hold off on mentioning untill I have something to show you guys. But I will say that the boat will be Black, Violet and Red, just like the website. Option list is:
496 Magnums
Hydraulic Steering
Quick And Quiet Plus
Compass
Depth Finder
Transom Shower
Pop Up Cleats
Polk Ultimate Stereo
Cabin Table
AC / DC Gallery w/ Refridge, Sink, Microwave
Shore Power
SST Package (Gaffrigs, Sunbrella Covers, Carpets)
steelware

I am hoping to do a factory tour in mid March and see the build process as well as meet with some great people at the factory. I hope to have some photo renderings of the graphics in a few days.

Awesome Blake! It's great to hear that the graphics are going to be unique. Definitely try to get some assembly pictures.
So you didn't go with airconditioning? How much is that option? The options list has some good stuff on it! :party

I dont know how much the Air option is, I dont use the boat enough to warrant air conditioning. I went the cheap way out and opted for a transom shower for hot days. I probably will never use the microwave but the wife might and its included in the galley option anyway.

Speaking of the galley. I was just looking thru the photo gallery and saw a pic of the 30's interior. Did you notice the grab rail (http://www.teambajamarine.com/Coppermine/displayimage.php?album=24&pos=46) all the way around the galley?
Another view of hand rail. (http://www.teambajamarine.com/Coppermine/displayimage.php?album=24&pos=39)
That is very practical and trick looking to boot.:rocker
That is something my wife can appreciate when climbing in and out of the cabin while under way on the very rough waters at LOTO.:winkgreen

The grab rail is trick, but the trickest thing about the cuddy on the 30 is the way the side seats pull out from the sides and form the sleeping area that covers the entire floor area. Big enough to sleep 3 and you still have the little space foward in the bow for personal items as well as when the side seats are pulled down to reveal Simpson netting and more storage. (Someone needs to take a photo of the conversion, I forgot to do it at the NYC show) BTW underneath that bow area small cuddy is more storage and if you did get the A/C this is where it would go.

Well done Blake,
You gotta bring it to Winnie.
Black? Sounds cool is the hull going to be black? Thats bad a$$.
Good choice of options. I don't have air either but never felt like I missed out on anything. Since you have obviously committed to it, did you get any further performance specs. to clear things up?

Eddie, you have never slept on your boat? WOW, you are missing out. Great Fun. We have run up the lake 30 miles, found a nice cove, raft off and drop a couple anchors. Then it is brew, tunes and friends all night. Crash out, get up, dip in the lake with a bar of soap and off to breakfast somewhere. Cant wait for summer!!:rocker
BTW, for you out of town folks, I just saved you a $100 bucks for a hotel room.:biggrin

#2. I don't know anywhere around here near a lake or ocean you can rent a room for under $200 without a 2 night minimum:readthis .

Thanks for the tip.....I think:cheers

Oh yeah, we have to clean ours on a regular basis or were supposed to; however, we only break it down to the five basic parts. A quick scrub with a dry tooth brush a drop of oil on each slide and back together for more fun. :biggrin
