What do I think?
The temp here is 18*F - downright tropic if you ask a boat dealer that's trying to get you to move here.
:spineyes
Catch my drift?:lol

My guess would be a top speed in the mid 50's.

We have the same year and model boat and the fastest we have seen on the Gaffrig Speedo is 58, which I think is a bit too much. I would say it is a solid 55 mph boat. Since, I'm the anal bastard I am we rarely do this...40 mph and a cold beverage is my idea of a fun day on the water.:dancingjalepeno

Single-engine boats, or staggered twin setups, are nice when it comes time to do maintenance! I can get in my 25 Outlaw, and sit next to the engine on either side..change a set of plugs or a manifold gasket in a matter of minutes without having to pull the engines! Most of the twin setups I've seen, it's a long painful event just to change plugs.

Chris,
I think the guys who have twins can afford to have someone else get down in there and fight with moving around while trying to complete the work needed. Maybe one of these days I will get to find out...like when I retire :(

Ive found that the most difficutl (sometimes quoted impossible) thing to do w/twins is change the bilge pump mounted in the rear.
Last winter I tried it after the mechanic told me I'd have to pull an engine to get to it.
I worked for probably four hours trying to figure out how to get there.
After multiple cuts (some pretty deep) and many scratches I got to it one handed. I changed it myself. It can be done. I don't reccommend it but it is possible.
Plugs, wires, H2O pump are cake after the bilge pump.
My only problem with pulling engines for work is my fear of scratches and/or cut vinyl. Thats probably why I put myself through hours of pain.
If I could only rig a block and tackle in my garage 0]

I wish that was true! I can't even afford the gas for the twins. I wonder if I can run with one motor shut down:hehehmm

Pance, I changed my bilge pump last year, It was not that hard... I just removed the manifolds! What a pain in the A__.
Although it made it easy to change the plugs and wires.

Has anyone replaced thier sunbrella cockpit cover yet? I am ready for a new one and I wanted to know how much I should expect to pay.

Joe,
I wish I had photos of all my botched attempts at getting to that damn pump. Upside down, backwards, over the engines, from the back, from the front. I was cursing like a madman. I never thought about removing the manifolds, (What a dumba$$) That would be the obvious solution. I guess they forgot to print that in the owners manual:hehehmm
The funniest part of my summer is when I put that thing on the trailer and take it to the local gas station. The look on all the peoples faces trying to get gas in their cars when I'm there blocking all the pumps. Takes like a half hour...
They love me....
Im with HP. I need to know the work was done properly as well.
