The new 30 Outlaw is soooooooo fast, it actually grows three feet in length at max speed! :biggrin
Cool pic! I wonder how close the actual graphics are to that.

Bryan,
Nice job! That looks killer. Very creative. There was an original idea to go that extreme but due to timing as I cannot be left without a boat there will be no Cutom Shop involved, the graphics will be much simpler but unique to the 30 OL. More info when I get the info, waiting on Baja.

If I did the paperwork back in November the TBM graphics would have be a reality but when I was ready to do it, we found out that we had to knock down and rebuild our 2 car detached garage due to structure and foundation problems. That was the downpayment money. So now in order to take delivery by Mid April, I can just barely have Baja build the boat in time, let alone Custom Shop paint.

Hey Blake,
You gonna tell us where you bought it as well?
I need a dealer.......
What about the NH registration stuff. How did that work out?
TeamBajaMarine
January 14th, 2004, 08:00 PM
OK, OK, I will be purchasing my boat at Channel Marine in New Hampshire (Jim Pischetta and Kory Keenen, great bunch of guys) and I will be registering in NH. I have investigated this thoroughly with my accountant and my insurance company and I have come to the conclusion this is the route I want to go. This is all legal to do but there are a few things that need to be considered if you want to go this way.
I will post more deatils in the FINANCIAL FORUM.

Anything is possible, but most likely doubtful due to scheduling.

I am GREEN with envy!
Can't wait to here more about the boat, Blake. What are they saying you should expect for speed?

Is the boat going to be finished "in gel", paint or decals?
Hopefully it's not decals. Docking the boat and rafting up is hard on them. On the other hand, if it's decals you can change the logo to match the changes at TBM/BBOA that will inevitably come with time as the website grows and improves.

I am pushing to have the papers for our 3 Year Anniversary, January 15, 2004. The paint will be in gel, and very unique to the 30, I should say one of a kind. What is being done for my boat will not be done to any other 30 Outlaw. I will post the renderings tommorow. Please hold tight and continue guessing.

Blake,
Nothing like buying a nice beautiful boat while experiencing some of the coldest weather in years. I guess this helps warm the soul...thinking of sunny days of the water :rocker
Noticed while watching the news this morning getting ready for work, the cold snap some of you are experiencing...stay warm and think of what's to come this summer.

blake,
what do you mean your boat will not be at my run. Baja just called me a couple of days ago and said that my run is the number 1 run on their schedule this year and they will be bringing the 40 outlaw with triple 1050's, your boat will be there buddy or i'm coming to see you. i was very impressed with their call. mike

Yeah, I second that one...
Seriously Blake how could you drive the prototype one year, own the production model the next year and not show up with it?
Don't you want to be in the magazine again showing off your new ride, and TBM as well?????
I think it would be awesome..
Can't wait to see what you got under wraps man. I can imagine how you must be feeling. Its like christmas eve huh?

January 16th, 2004, 01:35 AM
Guys,
The reason why I cant bring the boat is first I dont own a trailer, second I dont have a truck big enough to tow with, third is I liked spending my time organizing with Mike on the beach during the run and lastly my work schedule doesnt permit me to plan more than a week in advance in the summer as this is my busiest time of the year, Sorry to dissapoint. Maybe I will further investigate a transport company and see if I can justify the expense, now that we have some good sponsorship. Dont count me out yet.

I hear you about work, summer's my busiest time too.
If my boat isn't up and running at poker run time I'll take your boat up there free of charge. I just want a ride.....
Maybe see if you can put in one transport up and back by the dealer in your purchase deal0]
So cold here, thinking about summers driving me nuts:beathead

Blake,
Just take delivery of it at Channel during the poker run. Then have them ship it to NYC for you...

Then I am out a boat until July? I dont think so.

Bake with the weather here it will probably be July before the ground thaws. I get a kick out of the big chunks of ice floating around the sound. Looks like Alaska..

blake,
wish you would have put more tbm stuff into your boat. i have seen the picture, sorry but when you leave me out of the loop in these important things i will just have to get the info for myself. nice boat though. call me so we can talk. mike stocker

Mike,
There is no loop to be excluded from, the rendering you probably saw only 2 or 3 people have, Kory from Channel Marine (who is selling me the boat) and Baja. The rendering hasnt even been posted here untill the paper is signed. As I mentioned before, I couldnt go crazy with the TBM stuff as it is not a Custom Shop boat because of time and delivery contraints, so I had to do what I could to get me the boat on time.
