Grand Sport Center - Illinois

While in Chicago today, I took a 10 mile trip from my hotel to check out Grand Sport Center in Elmwood Park, Illinois. I met with the staff, Jerry Gianfrancisco and Jim Krumin. Simply put, these guys have Baja down, they were the #2 dealer in 2003 and been selling Baja since the late 70's. The showroom speaks for itself, a full stock of boats including a 30OL (which upon inspection, had a grey interior liner, which now that I have really noticed it, I do not like the gray) Very personable guys and they also do a fun run each season for t6heir customers, which I saw part of last years video of it while I was there.
They have new and used, worth taking a look. I am hoping to see these guys as a sponsor very soon as we had a very positive meeting, and they plan on offering thier pre-owned Baja inventory on none other than BAJABOATSFORSALE.COM for all our members looking to step up.

That is the dealer I bought my o/l from. You are right they are great guys. I have referd a few friends who also bought boats from them. Did you get a chance to meet Mark Miller he is the owner of GSC and a very nice guy , can't sy enough how well he treated me when I bought my baja.

Is the fun run that Grand Sport puts on only for people that have bought boats from Grand Sport Center.Or can any one come sounds like a lot of fun. Let us know

I believe the fun run is a free outing for GSC customers only, you can own a Sunsation, Sonic or a Baja, but by the looks of the video, it is all Baja in Chicago. The showroom is also all Baja with one or two Sunsations and Sonics.

I just want to say that they do have a nice web page, and I checked it often when I was looking for the next boat. :tiphat

They are a great place and Mark does anything he can to get you into a boat. When i talked to them at the Chicago Boat Show, Mark said he would have the fun run dates posted on the site late Feb/March and i made mention that some Baja'ers from this site were looking to come up here and run which he sounded very interested in, and now that Blake has gone to see them i think it will only up their interest in this site/community and i dont think they would have any issue with as many Baja's as possible to show up and flood the Chicago River
