Hey guys,
I may have the opportunity to pull the trigger on our first Baja. Currently we own a 98 Mariah. The owner had to sell, it was over the 4th July weekend, we made an offer & got an incredible deal. I had my mind set on a 25 Outlaw, but my woman talked me into starting off smaller & cheaper since we've never owned a boat before. Besides, it only had 65hrs on it & was in storage the last 3 yrs so we thought it would be a good dependable first boat.

Now we have some friends wanting to purchase ours & i think we can make a pretty nice profit on it. I still have Baja envy & I located this one today 97 23' Islander

Is there anything i need to be aware of w/ the Islander's during this models production run?

Also, i see a lot of LOTO boaters, anyone on Table Rock? We are down by Kimberling City.

Thanks,
Brian

Welcome brian....
Every boat I have bought in ELEPHANT BUTTE NM. has been junk...

Just kidding, I love that name....
It looks nice, how many hours are on it?
Sounds a little high to me...I think the book is low $20's + trailer...
Do you need a Islander? This is a better deal...pub47.ezboard.com/fteamba...ID=1.topic (http://pub47.ezboard.com/fteambajamarinefrm72.showMessage?topicID=1.topic)

I sold a 97 232 closed bow last year for $26,000...and a "98 232 with everything for $29,500...just to give you an idea...but I've said it before, they are not "that" boat, if you like it good luck to you...

99 252 Islander...0 bids...starting at 28,500

Baja4Brian:

We just sold our '97 232 Islander, with Blake's help. It was a great boat and hated to let it go; but, I could'nt justify keeping it along with the 2000 25 Outlaw we bought. I can't say I had any issues with the 232; fantastic family and watersports boat.

The pricing for the boat your looking at is lower than what I got for ours. In fact, I haven't had our advertised for three weeks and I'm still getting calls about it. Probably should have asked for more.

Went from LOTO to Table Rock for a RCI dog and pony show and then hit the lake for a few days on them. Hey I've been to the Bearded Clam and bought the shirt! :party

With that said the 232 is a great boat and you can't go wrong with big block power. The 330 hp motor even moves this boat along.
