Gang,
I feel the need to share with you all the events of the past week. I am now home and the cross country 5 week tour is over. There is alot of TBM business I need to organze now that I am home. Basically in the past week and on February 26th, my wife (Mrs. TBM) called me while I was doing our 4th to last show in Toronto to tell me that her father had passed. (he was sick for the past few years and took a turn for the worse on January 2nd where he was hospitalized and then sent home at the end of January) we knew the passing day would come, just not so quick and especially not while I was on tour. To make this short, I made my way home the next day from Toronto to be with my wife and her family, and this past week has kept me away from any and all TBM business. I sit here at 3am (NYC time) to explain why I have not been around after I just did my final tour ending show with Deep Purple and Thin Lizzy (I rejoined the tour for our last 2 shows in NYC) It has been rough and I dont like being away from you guys, (my second family) for too long.

In a nutshell, I have decided and learned what my priorities are, my wife and her and my family come first and then TBM is second. My point is, I will not tour ever again and leave the life I love right here, at home. I have created something very special with this website and I feel terrible that I neglected it for 5 weeks, there is much business to attend to now that I am home with member, sponsor and site issues. I will have everything sorted out and back to normal within days. I thank you for your patience and keeping the board great, while I was away.

Don't worry about us man, were still here bickering and such.
The loyal TBM'ers will always be around. Take care of your personal busniness man. Family is definately the most important thing. Be with your wife, she'll need it most. Its still winter we'll be alright for a while longer.

Blake,
Barb and I are very sorry for your loss. You don't need to apologize...we know what you're going through. Last fall Barb lost her mother and it has been a long difficult road to recovery. You're absolutely right about family. Take care and know your second family (TBM members) has you guys in their thoughts during this difficult time.

Your right Blake, family does come first. That is why I bought a boat to begin with, so I could spend more quality time with family and friends. Ali and I will keep you and your wife in our prayers in this difficult time for you. I know what it is like loosing a loved one and it is never easy. You never have to apologize to us, we know it must be difficult to balance work, family, and the TBM site.

Good to have you back Blake! Sorry to hear about the family loss. You and Mrs TBM have our condolances also.

I'm sure it is good to be back since I know about being on the road and staying in hotels for days on end. Typically our aircraft groundschool is 6 weeks long! Might get to come home for the weekend if the studying is caught up.

Now you can get things in order, look forward to spring and your new 30 Outlaw real soon!

Blake,
Sorry for your family's loss. One can never be fully prepared for these events and clearly it was even harder being on the road. Again my deepest sympathy.

As for the TBM family, what can I say. Boys will be boys. :biggrin Not to worry though, I am sure it's all (or most) in jest. :thatsfunny

Blake,

Sorry to hear about the misfortune in your family. The only comment I can add is what nobody likes to hear. "It just takes time."

The man upstairs can help you cope with all of your problems. You just have to ask him.

Blake,

I really feel for you and also want to express my condolences. My father laid to rest on Thursday, February 26th, trying to fight leukemia. He was only 58 years old. You can never prepare for something like the death of a loved one. It brutally reminds us of the inevitable, and how short and precious life really is.

Sorry to here about loss. Blake you can't let it get you down. Just be glad you had them for as long as you did. I lost my mom when I was 18 and my dad at 19. You just need to pick your self up and go on. And live each day as your last.

Blake don't worry about the Baja geeks with computers. Family does come first and all that matters is you were able to spend time with your wife and make it back home. Take care and god bless.

It's always hard to take when a loved one passes away.
My father passed away Feb.5 after a long battle with cancer and I thought I was ready, but I wasn't.
My thoughts and condolences to you and your wife.

Blake,

Our prayers go out to you and your wife...
Deb lost her father this past summer, he was sick for a while. You think you are prepared but the loss of a loved one is never easy. But the Big Guy upstairs is always there for us....

Thanks for all the hard work you put into this site. The wealth of information available here is priceless....!!
