Not a mag 65 would be a dream to the other question yes a small fortune would have to be spent offer 15 - 16 save some money 540 it and you will be happy survey as well

that's my other question what is it worth? I bought and sold my 05' 232 below nada retail and this unit only books for a little under 15K. Thanks for your help.

What its worth is mostly a factor of wood rot. Sadly, the rigging isn't always perfect and water gets into the transom from one or more of the big azz holes cut in it.

If you don't mind a "project boat, lowball him an offer and roll the dice. If however you don't mind giving him a fair price, have it surveyed. You might pay $15/ft.

For what we pay for these boats there shouldn't be any water getting to the wood and rotting it, but on the other hand for what we pay for our trucks they should last for ever to, and they don't. I suppose if they made them to last forever they wouldn't sell new ones. :noidea:

The boat hull will last just about forever if you don't break it. Its all the stuff attached to it that's the problem. ;)
