Not to sure how far east the ice is; however, I just saw the weather 6:00 pm and they said it is starting to get nasty in the St. Louis area, so hang on. Barb told me the lake is currently at 661.5, which is high. Usually this time of year it is down 4 or 5 feet. Man we have had some wet weather.

That is because they will not allow me to stop drinking here, and looking at Naked women:rollin . Sometimes this makes you not remember things like e-mail addresses and this is why I asked. Its all good you were the 1st to get and recieve on these pics..:tiphat . I ordered the graphics as Dark Violet forward, Black in the middle, and Red off the back. Not that they are bad, just not what I ordered. I have been having trouble getting ahold of the dealer. Funny how this is once you pay for something in full:huh

That would be the TBM / SSE boat, luckily for me they screwd up your order. How are you gong to handle this with the dealer?

I am working on the "one and only" issue with Baja and meeting with certain individuals indirectly responsible for this mistake. The "other" boat has been made already and the dealer sold it, so there is not much I can do to prevent the boat from making into the owners hands, and I have no beef with Darrell as he wasnt aware of all the specifics behind the TBM / SSE boat. But I am a bit dissapointed with whoever signed off on this boat at the factory and ultimately said "build it"

Darrell, I know what I would do about the colors. But then again, I am a d@#khead.LOL... If it is colors I can live with, demand some compensation off the agreed price, take it and enjoy it. If it is just terrible, then refuse delivery, refuse any refund on your deposit, hold them to the contract and make them build another one. Like I said, d@#khead!

You have my permission to post on this one. Last day in Jamaica, and has been nothing but off the hook. I will be in Bucyrus on Monday checking out the plant and the boat maybe I can get some better pictures. All I ask is that whatever is going on between you and baja, I stay out of the picture on it. I do not want heads :headspin , and the final out come of me with an unfinished 30 outlaw, or even worse not getting it after paying for it.:( There would be one less 30 outlaw owner out there guarenteed. I am accepting the different color combo on the boat as it grows, but I will still be talking to the dealer on this one Curt is Right. I am glad that our 2 boats even though unintentional will have very distinct noticeable differences, they are not even the same purples, and if someone looking at these boats think they are the same they gotta be :smokin something.

People seem to forget, Baja is in the business to make money PERIOD. If someone orders a boat in a certain color, weather it's hot pink or puke brown, and the owner forks up the cash, I can't help but think they will build it. No offense Blake but that's like asking GM not to ever build a red Corvette again after you just bought one. I'm not trying to insult anyone as this is only my opinion.

Hey guys just so you know Blake has been cool on this topic to this point, and I think we both respect issues on this. In the end Baja builds thousands of boats, and my dealer sells 100 baja's a year, we are never going to expect that in this case a dealer is not going to order more than one out of 100 with the same graphics ( or even paint set up ) In this case yes same graphics, but not even the same in many cases. Color combo, motors, options Etc.. Anyways when someone is spending the money to order a boat, it should be nothing less than what they want... In this case it was more freak accident than intention, but in the end its all good and all I really want is the boat the way it was agreed to be built without issues. I do not think this is a lot to ask for. Blake where are you posting these photos I sent you?

I'm not laughing at the fact your boat got ordered incorrectly. For that, I feel your pain and hope you are compensated fully. It just shows when things go wrong, no matter who the dealer is, no one wants to claim responsibility.:( >:

Whatever you do, for God's sake, get a purchase agreement before anything!!
Make sure the boat you ordered with options, trailer, etc. are all spelled out in detail on the contract. Make sure they have the total purchase price, trade in value, etc as well as tax, license and registration ... With a purchase agreement, if it comes in wrong, the contract is null and void and you are out of the woods on taking a boat that is incorrectly equipped.


Now my advice to you is get a lawyer. Have him/her review the purchase agreement and decide from there your next move.:)
If the colors are in the wrong order, why take it? Build time for a 30 OL is only 30 days. It will be late March before the ice is out.:rolleyes

Holly crap is it cold back here guys, and snow on the ground. My flight just got in from Jamaica:party . I will be getting someone to help me get pictures put here in the site, possibly Blake, or Curt:biggrin As for me I am ready to get a couple hours sleep and then 8 hour drive to Bucyrus to be there in the mourning at the plant.Thanks for all the support, the boat does look hot and grows on you regardless. I am also happy with the differences between mine and Blakes boat. Hate to say it, but I have decided after this season to send my 30OL to Kustom Kolors for all 3D paint on the TBM / SSE Outlaw, had a lengthy discussion about this with Baja guys during the show, and this would be the way to go to alleviate some of my pain.

It is simply going to be what the Custom Shop usually does, they 3D and shade over the existing in-gel graphics. I wanted to do this when I ordered the boat but since I was in a high and dry I was concerned about the yard rats damaging the paint when they launched and stored. Now since I moved and have the boat in my control, in my backyard, it makes sense.

Just got back in from Baja in Bucyrus, and the plant is like being at Disney Land for kids it was awesome to see8o
Spent 16 hours driving round trip for a 3 hour tour. I personally met J.R, a wonderful guy to chat with:tiphat , and he mentioned he just got back from New York. The most exciting part of the trip today was watching them attach the bottom and top half of my boat together. The boat is nearly complete:party . I also made a couple miner changes that they were very accomodating on. Couple more weeks and it will be at the dealer. As for the color combination confusion, this has been resolved with my dealer, and baja to an acceptable agreement for all..:biggrin

This was my 3rd time to jamaica, and 2nd to Hedonism 3, and needless to say it is off the hook. A total party, but classy, best food, best to drink. Scuba diving and Golf included:dancinbanana . I would recommend it to anyone that loves to party with or without rules:lol
