All of us probably get several performance boating magazines in the mail every month, but I'm trying to find out which one people like the most.

Which do you consider to be your FAVORITE boating magazine? Naturally, if it's not listed here, you can post it.Results (total votes = 36):

I like Family and Performance Boating magazine. It's published by Buckaroo Communications. They've featured quite a few Baja's in past issues and at one time had a 25 Outlaw to test out various products that the aftermarket offers them to test. Always good tech tips, boat tests/reviews and lots of color photos. The boats they feature are closer to what the 'working man' can afford. Not all about Outer Limits or Skaters. Powerboat and Hot Boat are great magazines too! I like them all.

Of course we can't leave out our own Baja Full Throttle magazine!!

I agree with Chris. I like Family and Performance as well. They are great for tech tips on the boats we actualy have and use. Powerboat is great for keeping up on trends and dreaming about the boats I wish I could have. It would be hard to go without either for me.

You know what, I completely forgot about Family and Performance Boating! We'll make #5 Family and Performance Boating instead of "Other" from now on.

I understand Matt's point of view as well. A $500,000 Outer Limits is kind of hard for people like us to afford. Especially since the house we live in doesn't even cost that much 0] 0] 0]

I really like Boating. They seem to not only cover a wide variety of boats. But also a wide variety of boating conditions such as off shore fishing, offshore boating, inland boating, even commercial stuff. I just think the try to provide a little something for everyone.

Gotta agree with Curt, Boating is pretty much the all around information source. Alot different types of boats and conditions.

I like Trailer Boats Magazine for the simple fact that it contains boats that are in my price and size range. I highly doubt I will own a boat in excess of 30 feet anytime soon simply because it just won't fit on most of the lakes around here....The others are all fun to read, but Trailer Boats is just a better match for the kind of boating people do in this area.

My favorite would have to be Family and Performance Boating. They seem to cater more towards the average performance boat owner. I really like their do-it-yourself repair/upgrade articles. Read that as I like to read the articles, not do the repairs...yet.

Then again, I'm biased since one of my friends is a regular contributor. But, it is fun to read about boats I've actually been in. :)

The reason I didn't include Boating, Trailer Boats, and Family and Performance Boating, is just because they were't exclusively for performance powerboats. Hmmm.... maybe we should make a poll about the regular boating magazines!

Hey, I found a great way to tell a performance boating magazine from a regular boating magazine... just look at the cover price! :rollin

Powerboat is my favorite. I also really like PokerRunsAmerica. They have tons of articles and inside stuff WAY before Powerboat. I take HotBoat and throw it into the trash everymonth without even reading it. That magazine is no good at all. Their editors can't spell, they can't put the right caption with the correct photo and the models are ass ugly.

Another vote for Family and Performance Boating magazine (now that they've gotten their subscription / delivery problems squared away)
