Looks nice. Not sure what to pay for it. I would rather have the 454 mag.

Just fyi... this summer has been very cool and labor day is close to the end of the season for us. Ill bet they didnt put one tank of gas through this boat this summer.

Last summer I drove to little rock AK to get my boat and was worth it. Not sure how far webster is from little rock but you can get a boat from eaton rapids to there in under 12 hrs. Probably about 10.5 or 11.

Just guessing even the 25K sounds like a good deal.

Looks great and seems to be a decent price :noidea: I don't really follow what those bring as far as money.

heres the thing. how does anyone get the skinny on what they bring? Its tough to judge based on asking price. One suggestion would be to do a cpmpleted aution on ebay and see what others have sold for.

John&Jamie,

Your friend could have my 272 for a good deal, I will even work with them on delivery.

It looks nice, but I wonder why they had it so long and put so few hours on it. Sometimes it's better if a boat has been run rather than sitting in storage.

Eaton Rapids,MI is near Lansing all small inland lakes lots of anchoring and raftups. As well as I'm sure work has gotten in the way. I've only put 10hrs on my boat this year and 15hrs last year. Its been tough for me to find time to get out. I wouldn't be scared of that boat at all, but the 7.4L will hurt on resale when he tries to sell it in a flooded market.

Also keep in mind HUGE difference between 25OL and 232 so if he's basing his buying decision on riding on yours he'll be disappointed when he's running with you in a 232.

If it was run some every year I wouldn't worry about it. If it's been sitting for a while, who knows.

I'm basing this theory on a boat I bought one time that was sitting in a guys garage for 7 years. It took me 2 or 3 years to make it "right". Everything made of rubber or plastic was rotten. It sure wasn't the screaming deal I thought it was! :violin:

If I was choosin and I can get the 232 for 21K and the 272 for 31K, I would go with the ebay deal. This is theoretical of course. Plus thats me and not your bud. Not sure what he wants.

As far as use goes give the guy a call and get the details.

If it was me I'd wait 2 more months. Boating season is almost over in the midwest you'll see alot of deals pop up once October hits..People won't want to make payments or store them in the winter.
