I bought chrome exhaust tubes to go from the riser to the exhaust tip. They are from eddie marine and are stainless steal. They fit stock exhaust or the short riser emi exhaust. They are new and never have been used. I bought them and now with a bigger cam I cant use them.

They are just the tubes... they replace the long rubber exhaust hose. They are not the long stainless steel risers. I cant use them because I had to buy the 17" long risers so I don't get reversion with the cam. again they are just tubes not risers. Ill post a pic later.

OK...so all you have to do is have 4 short pieces of exhaust hose to connect the tubes to the riser and one to the tip. I understand that the tubes will replace the 18 inches or so exhaust hose, but I still dont understand what difference the cam makes. If you didnt get reversion with the exhaust hose...why will you get reversion with the tubes? Same thing except one is hose and the other is metal and the cam should not care.

Paul, I agree they shouldn't change anything, they are mostly for dress up, right? Is this what they are?

How long are they and how much do you want?

The tubes should be to make the exhaust "more" pretty rather than having that blan old exhaust hose.

The motor is not stock anymore, they were bought before I had the motor redone. Your right it has nothing to do with the tubes, but it does have a lot to do with the exhaust risers. Long risers takes the place of the short risers and tubes. They were fine for a stock motor. They look a lot better than the long rubber hose. I also have A carb from a 97 454 mag 385 hp just rebuilt one season ago. Make an offer if you want. I have a few things sitting around Im gonna list soon. Im just cleaning out my shop.

Paul I think he's trying to say that with the new motor and the extra power he needed to replace the risers with ones that dump the water further back towards the transom to prevent the reversion..

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww...ding-dong...my bad. Its always best to dump water as far back as possible into the exhaust.
