well the 202 is just too small still. Put up with it for three years but....its just not fun anymore.
So...seekign advice and would like to stay Baja...Would like to go 25 to 27 and something that will get up and go 60+ if we want to. Don't mind going older...
No Kids, Lake (ROUGH LAKE), and we would like to trailer three or four times a year. Cuddy is a must...
Was looking at the Boss 245 and liked that. Might go new if the price is right.
So if you have any thoughts Baja or other..let me know.
If I could find a good Pachanga 27 I would do that.

I've seen some "deals" on new 26 Outlaws recently; something to do with dealer repos.

Admirals Anchor (one of the site sponsors) has one listed for $59,900 with trailer. I went by and looked at it last week; brand new boat. They had another one that they haven't listed yet. Too bad they weren't interested in taking my 202 on trade or one of them may have found it's way into my garage.
Now is definitely the time to buy, not so good for selling though.

Depends on how rough your lake is, type of boating (# of people, distance travel on water, year round, use the cuddy?) current tow vehicle ect.. I moved from a 24 to the 30 for the rough water alone, But rule # 1 is go as big as possible if your boating area justifies it. No kids means cuddy for sure on rough water. Sounds like you want to stay single engine, tow behind a 1/2 ton?? I will say that 26-27 is as small as I would go on my lake. The cuddy and the access is still small on the 26 if your planning on overnighters ect..Good Luck

???Nice boat but 52k for a 2003? I personally think quite overpriced. I think the owner would be lucky to get 44-46k if that in todays market.

No way I would pay $52,500 for an 03. There are some very good deals out there if you look for them. I bought my Islander for 9.5% below cost.

What do you think an 03 25 Outlaw with 496 HO and about 200 hours is worth in this market. I'm probably going to buy a 25 if I can find the right deal.

I agree with Dean.....If I was in the market for a 25 I would be looking to be in the mid 40s for an 03. I think the guys with the nicer boats are trying to hold out for the top dollar thinking that the 25 will be the higher demand boat because of the single engine.

Trust me...I agree with everything above. And honestly there isn't much out there 25 OL wise in that range....I know because I have been searching for a while now.....ugh....
Now Josh...you aren't supposed to give away our secret about the 25 in Wa.! I haven't yet figured out how to buy it!!!!!! LOL!

I sold mine for low to mid 40's 03 with HO and 300 hours. Lot of other folks asking 48-50's and still have there boats for sale. The hour difference is not worth the 3-5k in my opinion. It sold to a guy in Germany as well. Good luck but I think no more than 45 would be a good deal.

I would think a guy could buy that boat just for the resale. MRBaja this should be a boat you could get for 0% down. The appraisial should be way higher than 50K. Tell the bank your paying 65K and then you have enough equity in the thing.

Yeah, tried calling the ad on Monday....left whatever v.m. a message to call back but nothing....bet it is bogus :twoguns: . That boat (26 OL) was for sale a while back in trader for $69,900 but I think that was without a trailer....
Trust me, I was on that like flies on a rib roast! But it was all a mirage....
Now Anchor....if Josh sells me his boat for that money I'd be in Houma again before he got off the phone with me!
