Not sure about anybody else but yesterday TBM was not working well for me. Was not able to get on for most of the day and when i finally could it was only loading half pages. Weird.........but glad to see Blake's got it fixed!!

It's taking forever for pages to load it 's been like that since the problems started.

I think the server still needs a little tweaking.

Believe it or not guys, everything is happening at once.
You know the saying, When it rains...

EZBoard is having thier own set of issuea and we have no control over it, they are upgrading servers for more reliable and faster service, hell I dont see it. Unfortunately this is happening the same time we decided to move our website to the new hosts.

Remember, The DISCUSSION BOARD, The TBM WEBSITE and BAJA BOATS FOr sale ARE ALL DIFFERENT IN THE SENSE OF THE SERVERS AND HOSTS THEY LIVE ON. They are not one in the same.

Blake any intentions of moving away from EZ and hosting your own server (I know it cost $$$$ ) ? Who is going to host us now? I just reread your message.

I have a good connection here at work and it's alway slow with this host it seems. I'm not biatching just asking. :samurai

Eddie,
Unfortunately I like EZBOARD, it is a bit pricey but the layout options and in the past the service has been nothing short of excellent. Plus if we were to change over the board, we would have to start entirely from scratch, that means no memory of any of these posts.

I will give EZBOARD the benefit of the doubt as they work out this latest issue for faster and better service. As you can see there is a message above the board regarding the latest.

Now I'm having a problem loading the site main web page with the Norton Firewall enabled. It will not load. Diasable the firewall and it loads. What happened?

I have same Norton problem.

I've learned to go elsewhere unless I bored enough to disable the firewall for a minute or two like now. But I'm not jepordizing my puter so I can post, so it will be few and far between.

I haven't found a fix.

Download Zone Alarm, best software firewall there is....Norton isn't worth a dam....let me know if you need it!
Or buy a linksy router andf do away with the sftwr. firewall altogether...
I use both so I can be alerted when something is trying to access the net, it has to ask for permission, then you know if you've got a bot, spyware, or a virus....

Today's a great day! I've got my TBM back. I haven't been able to log on the past two days from both jobs. I did see where ez board was having issues and I knew Blake was changing things. Its great to see things up and running again. Dan, on the issue of the Linksys router, does it have a built in firewall? I've got one i'm using so i can use my laptop while the kids are on the main computer. I didn't realize it if it does.

Yes it does....all you show to a ping is 192.168.1.1, pc name(the name if any you gave it when you set up the network) and unknown as opposed to your real IP and info.
Now if your on a site the info can still be obtained by the site or anyone who cookies you.....look at Phils sig., that sign gives you your IP, provider, OS, and Browser type but only you can see it, and the site he got it from can log them. Danasoft has a scipt in their cookie to obtain it. Anyone could hide a script in a image, post it, and get the info from you.
I go into my internet options and block cookies that I don't want....in your browser go to view...privacy report...and you see a list of cookies your getting from any site.
