why did you delete my post????

I recently wrote that I love this site, but I cannot read it any longer because the black and purple colors really hurt my eyes and make it very difficult for me to read. I know this topic has come up before, but why did you delete my post?

I'm sorry if I missed your answer on the colors, but can you explain?

I would LOVE to be a regular on the board as I have a Baja 232 Islander which I love to use and talk about, but this site is too hard to read (physically).

Why the insistance on the colors?

I guess I will have to stick with the other boating sites.

Now that I have a 2004 30 Outlaw on the way using the TBM colors, black, purple and red. There is no turning back now.
As explained in the other section, the site has been this way for over 3 years and you are one of 2 to complain, wish I could halp you out, but it is what it is and TBM is unique.

I would seriously go to an eye doctor if these colors bother you. I am not joking, you could have a much more serious issue if the colors are hurting you.

I only spend a few minuets here at a time. The color scheme dosn't work well for me and other that I've met have all said the same thing. I'm not one to compain so I just tlive with it.

I also find the contrast a little stark and disconcerting. I
can read it fine, it's just a little uncomfortable to do so.
I wear glasses, might have something to do with that.
If I'm here for a period of time, I seem to get a bit of a headache, also. But I'm an old fart. That probably explains it!!

I've got bi-focal, and what I usually do is have a pair of computer glasses made, they are weaker than the bi-focal and work great...
these colors get to me sometimes until my eyes adjust, but not as bad a light blue on white, blue on black, or something like purple on green.....

We all know the colors are not changing. Its unique, looks cool and many have complimented me on the site and colors used. I cant make everyone happy, but it seems I have made most.
