The explanation is as follows and has been posted many times... I will delete any thread advertising boats, parts or businesses in any topic category. I try to stand out from the other boards and not make the GENERAL FORUM a marketplace. I have instituted this policy since day one. There is a section to sell your parts and a section for parts wanted as well as boats wanted.

Anyone who wishes to sell there boat can support TBM by doing so and place there ads on TBM and BAJABOATSFORSALE.COM, other than that I will not offer free advertising for non-supporters.

Blake, I respect what you are saying and under stand what you are trying to protect BUT I thought this is a place where you can go for information, idea's, tech support etc.....Im not selling the boat? I was just trying to pass on information on a great deal? I know im playing in your back yard here and will keep my (GREAT DEAL) findings to myself and other boards? Later

I did not see the post you dumped, but I have to say thanks for moderating things as you do. Some forums I visit are a free-for-all and it is nearly impossible to find any legit information. Others I visit are so stringent and tight that you can't do/say anthing and your thread is dumped and you get a nice email warning you of your actions. Keep doing what you are doing...works for me!

Thank you but this is the place for information, ideas, tech support etc. and it is just that. I did not start the board for it to become a marketplace and I have to moderate closely to keep it uncluttered. Many of the other boards are littered with off topic, non related and ebay ads in their forums, that may be fine with them, but my vision differs. I have learned alot over the years with this board, and most can attest to my loyalty when it comes to staying with a formula and keeping it that way.

As I do appreciate your findings, I am sure anyone looking for a boat knows to go to ebay, boat trader and every other classified on the net, this is not news and I apologize that I had to delete the post, but I must enforce the rules that I have made since day one.
