Mercruiser Reman Bravo X complete drive unit for sale. This is a 1.50 RH drive unit with 29 hours on the upper gear case and ZERO (0) hours on the lower gear case. Performance Marine in Lake George, NY just changed the gear oil. I'm selling this drive because I just replaced it with a Bravo XR and 2" IMCO shorty. I will package and ship this unit anywhere, with the buyer paying for packing materials, insurance and freight charges or deliver up to 150 miles from Albany, NY. Asking price is $ 2,950.00.

Yes, I did install the IMCO 2" shorty satin finished gear case along with a Bravo One XR upper gear case. FYI...My 2002 25 Outlaw came with special options installed right from the Baja Factory as a new boat. I'm the second owner. My Outlaw came equipped with a 496 MAG HO, Bravo One with a 1 1/2" drive spacer installed, Stellings 12" neutral extension box, IMCO single ram external hydraulic steering and Mercury 380 K-Planes all installed new at BAJA. According to Alton Blakely Marine, who sold this boat new, Alton Blakely ordered this boat special, with these options, as their "boat show" model for the 2002 model year.
The main problem, which Performance Marine and I discovered was that when Baja set up this drive unit with the extension box, Baja must have set the X dimension cut out for a 25 Outlaw without an extension box. That being said...we discovered that the measurement from the bottom of the keel to the center of the prop shaft was 6 3/4". This was way too deep and Performance Marine discovered that the drive alignment was off 3/8" from the day the extension box was installed. Needless to say the boat ran like a dog !!
Now with the IMCO 2" shorty gear case my prop shaft is 2 1/2" below my keel and it has changed the complete dynamics of this boat. I'm in the process of prop testing to get the prop/speed etc. I have not experienced any problems bringing the boat up on plane with or without the use of the K-planes. I'll post prop testing results when I'm finished. For the record now my 25 Outlaw looks and feels like a performance boat should.
