Hello from San Antonio!
I'm very pleased with my first Baja (90 226 ES). It's in great shape and it's a great ride. There's nothing like that big block roaring across the lake at WOT. :biggrin
I'm originally from Ohio so the Baja name was in the forefront of my mind when choosing my first boat. I searched around and finally found what I was looking for. I could've bought a newer "brand X" boat but trading a few years for the Baja name, quality and reputation was worth it for me.
Over Memorial Day weekend, the girlfriend and I had it out for the first time. We spent 14 hours at Canyon Lake on Saturday and another 14 hours on Sunday...:dancingjalepeno What a weekend! We're definitely looking forward to many more hours out on the water.
I've noticed several Baja's out on Canyon Lake but are any of you here on this site?

Thanks for the warm welcome! I look forward to getting some good advice from the people on this site. I've been poking around the different topics and I've already found some great info.
Additionally, if any of you are looking to come to Canyon Lake sometime, please let me know and I'll be glad to show you around and even share our ice chest(s) full of Coors Light.
And for those of you up at Lake Travis, I am looking forward to joining ya'll on a poker run. I haven't been up there before but a poker run would be a good excuse!

Hey Tim,
My family and wife's family are all from San Antonio. We visit over there every now and then. Unfortunately we are stuck over here in Del Rio with lake Amistad. Nice lake but a bit choppy with the ever present wind. We get lot's of you S.A. folks over here for big bass fishing tournaments.
Hope to get the boat to Canyon lake sometime. My dad and I used to fish there.
I agree, nice to see another Texas guy on here.

Ken,
I hope to see you out at Canyon Lake sometime. Send me an email when you're coming into town and I'll be sure to see you out there.
We had the boat out again this weekend. What a great time! The crowd was minimal. The weather was great and the water was warm. Our party cove at Canyon Lake was definitely the place to be.
I hope that all of you had a good weekend too.
