Well the weekend didn't involve boating (went to inlaws Saturday in Galveston for lunch and spent a couple hours connecting their entertainment center back up so it would work) and Sunday went to Baytown to a B-day party for a friend and former co-worker of my wife's).
Monday we had about 6 people over, two couples and their kids, for a burger-burn. Put about 3 hours on the Outlaw and had a great time. Lake Conroe wasn't nearly as crowded Monday as it was over the weekend. Weather was great! We had blue skies and scattered clouds all day.

Fri.-Sat....great.
Sun. tornado warnings and hail storm..
Mon.....little cool.
Considering everyone had jackets on in the pictures 823C took of Blakes boat delivery...we can't complain down here...warmer than usual but had tornado warnings 3 times last week. Where I live it has been at least 10 years since we had a actual WARNING, lots of watches.

I voted for the sun, but really needed to vote for all of them. Friday.....nice
Saturday.....real nice with bikinis, beer, and bare hoo hoos. Then it rained, but by then we threw up the biminis and didn't care.
Sunday....Windy blew so hard couldn't out. I have never seen the lake that rough.
Monday.....Nice but windy, too bad I had to leave early.
However it did rain about every night.

Well let's say the power booster on my Vettes brakes gave out on my way to see Blake take delivery of his new boat:evil . It is 125 miles away from my house so the ride home was alot of fun with all the traffic on the highways:eek . I am now an expert at pumping the brakes. On the bright side we enjoyed the boat on Sunday and Monday with family and friends. You can't beat that!:biggrin

Similar weekend as Tom
Visit W/ Blake and other TBM Members at Lake Winni for Blakes delivery...although i didnt have to battle the brake problem, I did have the cold weather to contend with. Hindsight tells me that taking the Bike could have been a bad idea. It got colder the closer i got to the lake! I remember driving by one of those digital temps on the side of the road about 10 miles from the lake @ 7:30am........46 degrees!!!
But the rest of the weekend .........spent on the boat with wife and kids (fishing) on sunday. It was kinda windy and cool but still fun. Monday.........Guys day fishing! Who cares how cold it was........Caught 26 keeper Cod ranging from 22" to 29". (prob caught around 60-75 fish total). Its fair to say i have enough cod in the freezer for a while!
Good weekdend but weather could have been warmer!

Saturday was great, went out about noon, and stayed out till 11:00 pm after the fireworks show on the water. Sunday was awful, wind and rain. Monday was much the same. Oh well, at least I got one day on the water.

Rafted up on the Navesink River all day Saturday and Sunday with friends and BBQ'd with the neighbors afterwards. Weather was great.
Had to fill up the ga$ tank >: ka-ching, that sucked.
Sunday was a wash-out so went shopping at West Marine, replaced the lines at my slip and in the evening got together with the neighbors for margaritas and pizza.:headspin

I will add my .02 cents.
Worked on Sat., crappy weather on Sun., Wife gave me option on Mon. leave our daughter with Nana and go to Stockton Lake 4 hrs. or take our daughter with us to LOTTO and be gone the whole day. Her vote was to Stockton mine was to LOTTO. We went to Stockton!:rolleyes

This was one of the better Memorial weekends at LOTO if were speaking about the weather. There was a huge storm that rolled through on Sunday…blinding rain...golf ball size hail...60 mph plus winds...only lasted an hour or so. Believe it or not we were anchored with a few other boats at the 31mm and rode the storm out. I feel sorry for the ones who left just minutes before the storm hit and were caught out in it :rolleyes . We simply snapped on the cockpit cover put the pole up and went down in the cuddy for lunch and listened to the ball game, in between storm alerts. Once the storm was over the sun popped out and it was beautiful the rest of the day (boat needed a bath anyway). Had a great weekend overall.

We would have had fun but the guy we were supposed to meet at the Captains Galley didn't show up :rolleyes
I know he came within a few hundred feet but didn't show :(
I think I need to be a COP to hang with the cool people at LOTO :(
