What do you guys do for shade when anchoring? Should I invest in a bimini top or something like an anchor shade or large umbrella. The anchor shade by taylor is only 6x6 and I don't think that will do much. I appreciate any input.

This is what Curt has on his 33, I think he likes it.
After last year I think we will get one too.

I have an anchor shade, works like a charm. At times I would rather have a bimini top, but did not want to mount all the harware on my boat.

Anchor shade for us. We used ours this past weekend, everyone that was tied up with us wanted one also. You can't beat $200 bucks either.

We have an Anchor Shade that works great; however, I must warn you to be careful in the wind. It can bend the supports that hold the shade part up. "Off Duty Weapon" put small dowel rods in his and used white duct tape to secure them in and you can't even tell he did it. No longer a worry in the wind. We have not experienced any trouble yet, but if it's too windy I don't even attempt to put it up.

The key too using them in the wind is not to make them too tight.

Missouri,
No he did it after it bent one day in the wind. He purchased four small wooden dowel rods and placed them in the suppot arms and used white duct tape to keep them there. Looks good and works even better.
