I would like a recommendation for where I can get Baja seats re-covered.

Thanks.

Any good upholstery shop that does boats and cars....
mine told me that Baja's were the most expensive to recover because it all has to be computer cut with all the designs....if your in St.Louis Dave's Upholstery is good.

I bought replacement skins only from my dealer. About 70 bucks per.
Total cost 200 and I did the labor. Not a big job.
The rear sunpad skin cost me about 700 but I just had to have the oem stuff.

I just finished having all my interior reupholstered. I had a local auto/boat type shop do the work. The guy did a pretty good job, BUT...nowhere near a factory fit. I had him only recover using 2 colors rather than the original 3. The main difference between factory and this job is the edges/corners/seams are not near as neat and tight. There are more puckers than the originals. All up I paid about $500 total, including sunpad. Mind you I have one of the smaller boats at 18' but there was still a lot of covering to do...all the seats, pads, sideboards, rear lid.
Bottom line suggestion is check out a shop's previous work and look at the detail of the job. I think my stuff could have been done a bit better, but all in all the boat looks 1,000 times better than when I bought it.

I wanted to replace the Vynil on my 272. Called Baja, don't stock parts for older than 99 :-( Local reputable shop wanted $6700 to do the bolsters, side panels and back seat!!!!!!!!! Bought a new boat instead, lol
