Anybody have an experience with them? I'm thinking about getting a full mooring cover, and they have one custom fit for a '33. The Sunbrella cover is $681.60, though iboats.com.

The price sounds good but remember to get a "j" zip opening installed on one or both sides for easy access or departure at night or rain, saves a lot of time not having to remove half the mooring cover in these situations. Stephen Currie-locomotion-442-triple502"s-mbr#583

Dont know about hurricane but I just tried my coverquest.com cover on my 25 outlaw fits like a glove and it only cost me 510. on special and it has a five year warranty. I got quotes at local canvas shops any from 700-1200 depending on material and how far down the sides I wanted it.

Thanks. Looks like another possibility. The cover for mine would be a little bit more than the Hurricane, but not much.

Mike,

The sharkskin one would save some money. Sounds like it holds up well? I've got the sunbrella cockpit cover, but want something to put on when I won't be using the boat for a few days.

karl,
the shrkskin is the way to go mine lasted over 5 years on the hydrostream outside. for the bajas i only had 1 year and then upgraded. but i know the cover is still on my old 25 outlaw i seen it last weekend. i really like the baja cover on my 29 but i would never pay the 1200. that they want to buy it. did you give overtons a call on the sharkskin yet? mike

Overton's didn't list anything that large in the catalog, so I'll have to call them. The place I checked has them for $390, almost 1/2 the sunbrella. Looks like a no brainer. The $300 I save should buy me enough gas to get to the sandabr and back :rollin

Go to www.coverquest.com for Sharkskin covers. I just received my full Sharkskin for my 302 and it is very nice material and only $400.00.

I have the sharkskin for my Hammer. Love it. Extremely waterproof. Once had a huge puddle of water sink the cover into the boat after undoing the straps. Needless to say...not a drop in the boat.

I agree with everyone before. Previous boat had a sharkskin. They custom fit covers to allow for windshields, cleats, etc....

Great cover
