Okay, I am not a salesman and quite the skeptic at times but I went to a local boat show and found a couple guys selling a wax called "Pro-Tec" Clear Coat sealant/polish. I initially walked away but came back. Man, I have tried everything on the market and almost all of it does not last nor go on or off easily (rain dance, turtle wax, maguires, mothers, whatever). I washed the boat Saturday and dried it, and then started putting this on. It took 30 minutes to do the entire boat by myself. It dried in about 15 minutes to a very light haze and here is the great part, I took it off in less than 15 minutes!!! I did the no no and put it on in the direct sun as the salesman said you could and in fact, he said leave it on for a week if you want, it will still come off just as easy! You have NO swirl marks, no buildup on the cloth you are using to remove, no dust from the wax coming off. I used a 6 inch terry cloth and did the entire boat and not a spot on the rag! It is a bottle type wax and not a paste type applicataion. Really. The boat is GLASS!!!! I then used it on my 2001 F-250 4 x 4 that had a really shitty clear coat and that is glass too!!! I have well water with lots of minerals in it and washed the truck again and the water just ran off of it, did not even bead up! This is supposed to be a once every 6 months application. I have the 496mag ho and have the exhaust on my transom and normally it is a pain in the butt to get off. It washes off with water. Well, I do not sell it but just wanted to share what I found. Here is the number 1-800-648-5568 and they are in Longview Texas. Wax on-wax off!!!

Interesting. if you had only 1 post next to your name, you know it would have creatind chaos then deleted, but since you "vouch" for it, it might be worth a try.

Thanks for the info.
I know how you feel...I too have always been looking for that 'ultimate' wax, but so far to no avail. I'll give it a try.

I ordered a bottle of the sealant/wax and a bottle of the wash'n'glow the wax is great goes on easy and comes off easy and it does leave a wet look shine to the hull. Have not tried the wash yet. This stuff remindes me of the wax called liquid luster they used to sell.

Sorry guys, There is nothing that says SEALANT / POLISH on the website. The only thing close is the FIBERGLASS SEALANT? Is this the stuff? I want to use it on the boat and car.

Sounds like it's worth a try. I have some fading on the starboard side where the sun hits it in the afternoon. I think the best way to take care of it is to get the oxidation off first then seal it. But, I'm not sure whether to wet sand it or use a compound to remove the haze. Any suggestions guys?

Well,
I received the bottle yesterday. It came 2 days after I ordered it. Nice service.
Anyway, I put some on a corner of the truck. It goes on Sooooo easily and comes off just the same. It's seems like a great product and I can't wait to try it on the boat!

FYI, I put a second coat on my boat within about 1 week of the first coat. The wax on my boat is still holding up better than things I have tried in the past. The second coat kind of made the difference though. I too will see how it acts and how long it lasts. Like I said, I too am a skeptic but willing to try new products....Dean

Received my wax a couple of weeks ago. The bottle had opened and much had leaked into the shipping peanuts. I contacted the web site and they quickly sent me a replacement bottle and some wash. Nice to deal with good customer service.
I used the sealant for the first time yesterday and it was very easy to apply and remove. I also will be interested in seeing how it performs over the long run.

Does anyone remember years ago the commercial for the "spray away" car wax? Supposedly you waxed the whole car, then just sprayed it off with the hose. The guy on TV looked like he was having a blast doing it! Anyway, I always tested a spot first when trying something new, but for some reason, I did the whole car. I grabbed the hose and started spraying and nothing happened.
Well, you know how wax smears if you try to get it off and water runs out from somewhere. I had to towel dry the whole car, work my ass off getting as much of it off as I could, then re-wax it with something else. I was 17 when that happened and learned to always test a little spot before doing the whole thing!
I may have to try this brand you are talking about. Thanks for sharing!
