I don't know of any place that you will get this information.

My experience with Baja is they can be bought for around 25 percent off list price.

I'm sure it varies from dealer to dealer, etc, just my experience with what I was told list was and what I paid for a 272 and the 36 Outlaw.

Good luck

FJB,
There is no known source for "invoice prices on boats. There is the NADA.COM (http://nada.com)
website that will give you the used values, check out a 2002 and see what kind of number you come up with.

Just IMHO now,
MSRP is a f@ckin joke and you will never know what the true "Dealer Invoice" is till you buy a Dealership. It is the same with cars, If you think they are running a business and giving you a car under Invoice or for $5.00 over Invoice you are wrong, don't fall into that "GAME".

What I did was I looked at the used market for a few months and got an "idea" of where they should be.

This is a good place to ask and also Fastbaots but not that many "New" boat buyers around. Like I said, Just IMHO.

GOOD LUCK :o

I have friends in the car business and you actually are getting a car at or just over invoice. How it works is, the dealers get incentives and points on the loans, add ons and service. Most will finance and if you cant get that zero % rate (which you have to have perfect credit, over 750) the dealer gets a % point on that loan, well it may only add up to $1,000 but if you multply that by the amount of vehicles sold, you get the idea. Think cell phones, 25 cents on evey dollar for evey customer bill adds up, this how the money is made in the cell phone business. Hope I shed a little light on how all this FREE PHONE and DEALER INVOICE system works.

I tend to agree with the 25% number. The salesman gave me a LOT of info about exactly that over dinner and drinks!

I know that my own boat was originally offered by the dealer at about 10% below MSRP. He nearly cinched the sale too, but balked at dropping his price another couple of thousand. The boat sat for a year afterwards. They eventually advertised it a bit over cost, which is about 29% under MSRP. That ad was my starting point with the dealer.
