Holy crap! Anyone looking for a smoking deal on a 2006 30 OL needs to go to boats.com. There is a 2006 30 OL SST with MAG's in it for an asking price of $87,995! Wonder what the catch is...????

Holy Crap!!! That is a smokin deal. I don't beleive their is a catch. It is being sold by Irwin Marine on our lake. They are the biggest dealer on our lake, they sell Sea Ray. I called them to get some info, I guess the guy who bought it decided after 20 hrs to go to a cruiser. He took a huge hit to do so!! Anyway, there is already a deposit on it.
My assumption on why it is so cheap is because they have been back and forth on putting a speed limit on our lake and twin engine performance boats have not been moving at all. I am sure they are just trying to get rid of it.
If it is someone from TBM that has a deposit on it and needs someone to take a look, I am willing to help.

Definately not good for the resale market and worse for those upside down in thier loans that have bought at the high end of the spectrum. A deal like this is great for a buyer, not so great for an owner and I personally think deals like this are very far and few between. Lets hope this deal does not set the market.

I think with a poor market and high gas prices people that are forced to sell are giving these boats away which is allowing buyers smoking deals. I certainly as well hope it doesn't controll the price in the boating market.

I agree 100% Blake! I am sure this deal is only GREAT for the cash buyer (or someone without a trade). I am sure any trade on this deal, will make the asking price not look so hot...

Just spoke to Allen at Irwin Marine and the boat was actually sold before it ever came up on the net. From what he said the boat comes out of Florida and the guy was taking a complete hosing on insurance! He traded it for a big cruiser and saved himself a few thousand a year in insurance premiums so I guess he didn't mind taking the hosing on the trade because he was losing money anyway!

Here is another seemingly good deal. This is the boat I was looking at in California, but the guy that owns it got pissed off at me because I didnt drop everything and haul my butt out there on a moments notice. I have alot of extra pics that are not published if anyone is interested. I was interested in this one because of the motors...just mickey-mouse BBC. Sell them or give them away and stuff some 540's in there. Anyone interested...go for it...no problem with me.

Paul, Thats comparing apples to oranges. The 302 is a much older model and it is a 1997. This is a spanking new 30 Outlaw (only a couple of years on the market)

Thats true Blake, but this 302 only has 84 hours on it since new. I pulled the numbers on it and got my neighbor to run down the original owner and they confirmed that the boat only had 84 hours on it. Seems that after they had the skeg guards installed, they just didnt use it, then they had some financial woes and sold it to their friend in California. The boat is registerd in New York...actually close to your backyard. Other 97 302's I have seen are still in the upper 50's to mid 60's.
