I am trying to locate these small (probably one of a kind) windshield joint covers. I don't think any other boat ever used these from the results of talking to manufacturers!!!
I am frustrated to no end.
These are thin, flat, plastic covers that go over the gap between the front windshield and the side windows. They are flat with a slight (1/8") drop on each side to cover that ugly gap. The gap is sharp, ragged, and tearing my boat cover. The caps just screw on with 2 screws each.
I talked to Baja and they referred me to Taylor Made systems who they claim makes their windshields. Taylor Made was REAL FRIENDLY, probably the best customer service people I have ever talked to, but unfortunately, they have no knowledge of these peices. They are probably $2 pieces, but nobody seems to have any ideas.
I am hoping someone here might have these on their boats (with windshields) and might have ideas for replacement. The old ones just got brittle and busted up.
Anybody help here?!?!?!
Thanks for any advice, company names, or sources.
Ken
