HELP with boat cover

Yesterday I got a small tear in my sunbrella fabric boat cover. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can treat this small hole so it doesn't continue to get larger. Thanks.

The best solution I know of is to have a patch stitched over the hole (on the underside). Retreat with 303 Protectant.
