All I could think of is that I hope that camera doesn't become part of Police evidence, seeing your pride and joy being hot wired would suck.
It is cool

GottaHaveIt,
Your quite the gadget guy, aren't you? (This and the GPS tracker) Now that I've seen the webcam, I know right where you are. I recognize the big white house across the way from you - you know the one with the nice boat house and playground. We were floating in that area just before dark last Saturday evening.

Chris,
Dude, my wife would kick my ass if she knew that I had put my homes GPS location and showed pictures of my stuff and had people say "oh yeah, I know where you live", she thinks I'm crazy for telling all that I do.
But like I said "it is cool"

I used to worry. If someone wants to find me bad enough all they have to do is put my callsign (ham radio) in a search engine and the FCC tells em right where I live! :rolleyes
I figure if my stuff gets stolen, then I won't have to make payments on it anymore, right? 0]

Well Craig, I don't think a 33 will fit in my lift! A 29 will if the jetski ramp were removed. It's right under the bow of the boat and with my 25 there I can barely get the jetski on the ramp. (I use the ramp for temporary parking..breaks, lunch..get back on the ski some more. Otherwise it is kept on the trailer in the garage.)
Keith, I'm going to be out of town Memorial Day weekend working. :rolleyes

The best way to get everything stolen is to announce on a local ham repeter that you going out of town.>:

Chris,
This really is cool. I know people have mentioned that they would be worried about your stuff getting stolen. The way I see it, with the lake cam, you have added protection because all your Baja buddies are watching your stuff for you while you're gone. :)

Hey Chris, was over at brother in laws and showed him your lake cam. He knew the dock to the left of you. Drove by there and there it was, the 25 in your slip. He lives in the Cape. Also just wondering, are the pics saved? And it looks like they are taken every 3 minutes. Just thought i might want to get my pic taken on memorial weekend. Maybe modeling my new TBM shirt with new logo. Well, maybe get my wife to do it. Might ease up to the bulkhead for 3 minutes. 8o . Line of storms moving into the area. See what your missing?

Back out again today! Man is it rough..the lake shores are bulkheaded so it's like a big huge bath tub. Lots of boats, a few Baja's, a couple of Cigarette Top Guns, Scarabs, but mostly runabouts and pontoons.
I have to work tomorrow thru Wednesday so this is my boating day!
See if I'm out on the lake:

Now all I need is a zoom lens and web controls! :D
That way anyone could log on and move the camera arond or zoom in! (Someday).

Chris, your not kidding on being rough out Saturday. We ended up at the dam for awhile. Friday was the best day. Good running and less boat traffic. Couldn't ask for better weather.

Geez, Chris . . . stop whining. My wife and I lived in The Woodlands for a year and a half with our 20' Stingray and got the chit beat out of us every weekend at Lake Conroe. Good thing she wasn't pregnant then. Man, I'd love to be back there jumpin' the waves in our Baja.

Dude trust me there is no whining goin on up here unless I can't get out in my Baja. Come on up and lets go flatten out some Lake Conroe chop! 8)
