Well fellow boaters, after a 10 hour workday Friday I met up w/ our local guru of audio componets at his shop. At 4:30am this morning I was able to tow the boat home with a system that blows away 99% of the cars/trucks I have heard.
If anyone remembers Mobil Authority and remembers that their reputation for quality was pretty low back in the 80's and early 90's, take another look now. M/A audio. 3800 watts of power running 4 12's, 4 6.25's, and 4 tweets in perfectly clear sound. (trying not to gloat, I'm just bouncing off the walls) I had trouble sleeping and am leaving for the lake in 5 minutes. If anyone wants some details on the componets let me know and I can post up the specifics.
I should have some pictures posted in the next few days.

Sounds like a killer system. How did you mount the 12's?

Planned on taking the pictures this morning before work, but as it works out in Kansas, it's pooring rain and sending ice pellets out (hail) atm. With any luck I'll take them tonight for all to see.
I did add more batteries, a total of 4 running parrallel but my stupidity has already won over, when pulling the boat out sunday I was running the bilge and forgot to turn it off so it sat running all night. I really need to install that battery cut off switch that is sitting next to me. ;( 3 more days till Mem weekend. Yeee haaa

Ok, it took more than a few days to get some pics up and for some reason I can't find the pics of the engine compartment to show you the 0 and 4 guage wiring, but here are a couple of shots of it.
The rest of the boats are a small example of what we all run with (or don't on rainy/cold days)
