I'm looking for 70+ can I get that out of a 496 ho?

Im thinking you should be able to get 70 or better, I have a 25 Outlaw with 496mag HO and see 70mph.

Are you talking on the speedo or GPSZ? I run with two 25 outlaws with 496mag HO's. They run 70 on the dream-o-meter and 66 on the GPS. A H2X with 385 HP will run 74 on the dream-o-meter and 69 on the GPS. The 232 will be faster than a 25 but slower than and H2X. So with 425 HP you should be able to just get to 70 on the GPS.

If speed is important go with a H2X. If ride is important go 232. Both great boats.

You should break 70 with a 496HO, especially if you blueprint the prop.

will the 232 ride better than an h2x; in a chop, high speed ?
